LEWIS STATION WINERY (LSW) TASTING ROOM EVENT RULES

The Tasting Room at Lewis Station Winery is available for private events. Please read the following before making an inquiry.

The room is available Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during normal business hours Noon to 8 PM. Sundays may be available during normal 11 to 3 PM hours, but the LSW kitchen is closed. If you want food, you will be responsible for providing it. Book early! We are typically booked 3 to 6 months in advance.

The room rental fee is $150 for up to 4 hours. Over 4 hours is $200. You are required to purchase a minimum of $150 in beverages (beer, wine,soda) for your event. If you have more than 30 in attendance, a bartender (room attendant) will be required at a rate of $75 for the event.

Planning an event at LSW will require a face to face meeting with Chef Jason at LSW. He will contact you to make this appointment.

Number of Guests: The Tasting Room seats up to 60 comfortably. We are not able to host parties larger than 65 people.

Carry ins: ABSOLUTELY NO CARRY IN ALCOHOLIC OR NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED. The only food allowed to be brought in is a cake or similar from a commercial bakery. Food for Sunday events is exempt.

Food: Please do not ask for a menu or price list. If you have never been to LSW, come for a Wednesday Wine & Tapas. This will give you an excellent overview of our style of food as well as a visual of the room and buffet setup. All event menus are custom. Price is dependent upon menu. A typical party will run $16 to $25 per person, excluding beverage and other services.

Beverages: LSW offers a wide variety of LSW wines, craft beers and sodas for events. If you have a need for a specific beer or soda, please request it during the planning meeting. LSW will provide water in dispensers. Coffee/Hot Water is available for $50. Punch, lemonade or similar (non-alcoholic) is available for $50.

Decorations: Decorating must be minimal and take no more than one hour to complete. We will close the room off no more than one hour prior to your event. ABSOLUTELY NO GLITTER, CONFETTI OR OTHER LOOSE PIECES OF ANY MATERIAL. Use of this decoration will incur a $100 cleaning charge. You must provide your own scissors, tools, step stools, ladders, etc. Decorations must be affixed with tape or other easily removable means, that will not damage LSW furnishings. All decorations must be removed promptly at the end of the event.

Other Services: Set up of outside bakery provided cake - $25. Cutting an outside bakery cake - $1 per slice. DJ's, music, entertainment, electrical and other requirements must be discussed at the planning meeting. Cost, if applicable, will be determined at that time.

Children: LSW does not have high chairs or booster seats.

No event request will be considered without submission of a completed Request Form. Submission of this form to LSW is considered understanding and acceptance of the Event Rules. It will be your responsibility to communicate the applicable rules to your guest in advance of the event.
